The GoodKnight Collection

The Chronicles of Narnia the World Over

In 1975, Tolkien and Lewis aficionado, Glen GoodKnight, began to take serious interest in translations of the Narniad, collecting editions from over 40 different countries. By 2004, he had begun to make his wonderful collection of non-English editions available to the world through his website, inklingsfocus.com. With his passing in 2010, The Disordered Image became the logical repository for his digital collection. The following area of The Disordered Image is dedicated to his memory and work. His death inspired a lovely obituary by the LA Times, and his brief autobiography from his old site along with his list of contributors has been reproduced here. A special thanks to David Emerson at the Mythopoeic Society for his aid in helping us retrieve the material from his site before it was lost.
